James S. Rousonelos grew up in Mid-western Illinois, southwest of Chicago in the early to mid-1950's through the 1970's. He has always been a visual person. He is a professional artist, a painter who paints
realistic portraits of people. His interest has always been in the deeper side of the human psche'. His painted portraits are recealing studies of each subject. James lived in Chicago, Illinois from 1977 through
1999. Previous to that he lived and worked in New York city for three years. He has exhibited his artwork
in both cities, and in various parts of the USA. His art is collected by many throughout the US and in some other parts of the world. James also is an accomplished photographer, as well as being a master
fine art painter. He has been drawing and painting for thirty-two years. James is an avid swimmer, having been on his high school swim team in Joliet, Illinois. he has been a lap swimmer evry year of his life since. He also enjoy waterskiing, writing poetry and fiction.
In the early 1990's James became interested in the film industry, while living in Chicago. At that time he
started doing extra work in such movies as Home Alone 2, The Fugitive, with Harrison Ford,The Untouchables (The TV series), Return To Me, with Minnie Driver and David DuChovney, and What Women
Really Want, with Mel Gibson, just to mention a few. Rousonelos is of Greek decent, and hope to continue in the industry as an actor, with parts that bring out his Mediterranean, expressive qualities.
