The Event: Day 2Preliminary Competitions - During this full day of individual, closed performances, each contestant performs for our elite panels of judges. Judges not only score each contestant, but also request callbacks for the talent they would like to interview. 10 nominees and one winner from each category will be chosen. However many others receive callbacks, leading to auditions and work with our top agents, managers and movie producers. This is an amazing opportunity to be able to show your talent to these judges. Throughout our four-day competition process, our judges tally a list of contestants to be invited to 1-on-1 interviews. These callback sessions will be held after the final round of competition. Here, the possibilities are endless. Countless contestants have signed with agents, managers, record labels, and set up auditions for major feature films during these private interviews. Program Book Picture and payment due as soon as possible. If you would like your picture in the program please complete the form, attach a picture and send it as soon as possible to the address below. Any type of picture is OK. We prefer a black and white headshot, but will use whatever you send us. A snapshot is fine but try to bring it in close to the face. The price to be in the program book is $60, and your photo will be displayed in wallet size. This is completely optional, but our recommendation is to take advantage of being in the program book. The judges will be sent a copy of the book before the competition so they will have a chance to study it and make choices of whom they want to see and whom they are interested in. This gives the contestant an extra chance at being requested for callbacks as well. The Judges really do study the program book for their first impression. This year for the first time we are also offering you a way to show your skills by putting your resume in the program book. We feel this will give you a major advantage, as the judges will be able to read all the information that they really need to know about you. If you want either your resume or bio in the program book you may purchase either a half page for $150 or a full page for $200. If you purchase either a half or a full page your photo will be included in the $60 section for free. Having your picture in the program book is a great way to be exposed to all the judges especially combined with the Grand Introduction There will be three categories in the program book; child, teen and adult. Each category will be alphabetized and will show your picture, name and what categories you are competing in. In addition to sending the program book to our judges, we will also send out the program books to other approved agents and managers which will give you more opportunities to be signed and start your career. By being in the program book you automatically are entered in the: PRINT COMPETITION There will be 3 print winners: Child Model Female Model Male Model Each winner will be announced and receive a fabulous trophy. PRINT COMPETITION There will be 6 print winners: Child Model Female Child Model Male Female Model Male Model Best Commercial Headshot Best Theatrical Headshot Each winner will receive a trophy and be announced. Toy Drive Every year Lynn Venturella has organized a Toy Drive for The Good Shepherd Homeless Shelter for women and children. It is a non-denominational shelter that takes in and keeps safe, women and children in need. This year she is asking all the contestants in Hollywood’s Best New Talent Awards to help with the toy drive. There will be a large box in the Information Room available if you wish to contribute a toy. The toy must be new and unwrapped. A small gift certificate to a store that carries toys (Target, Toys R Us) would also be appreciated. Anything donated, no matter how large or small will be appreciated by the children of the shelter and us. Thank you in advance for anything you wish to contribute.
