I was born and raise in El Paso, Texas. Ever since I was a little girl, I liked performing and dancing infront of people. My cousins and I used to come up with skits and dance in birthday parties. When I was about 6 years old, I started dancing ballet folklorico for about a year. I did three performanced while I was there in a venue called INBA. When I was nine years old, I attended a modeling agency called Nike Modelaje College. There I was taught how to walk and do photo shoots. I also did a summer show, where we modeled clothes and did a dancing act. I was there for about two years. During my middle school years, I began to play volleyball, basketball, ran track, and softball. I was also in the school's band where I played the trumpet. I was always first trumpet and also the soloist for the performances held in school and in the contests that we had. I also joined the school's choir, where I got to perform in school and a local high school. There I was also a soloist for the choir. Once in high school, I had quit everything and dedicated my time for my studies. Though, my senior year in high school, I planned and performed in dancing skits held for our homecoming assembly. Right after gruduation, I attended the University of Minnesota Morris. There I enrolled in a theater class, where I was taught the basic skills in acting, blocking, and directing. As a class assignment we had to perform a scene from a play of our choice in front of the whole class. I was one of the lead actress. For that class we had to attend shop also. There, we had to build, set up and paint the set for the production of The Twelfth Night. I also enrolled in a drawing class, where I was taught how to draw free hand and use different untensils and how to add the shadows and make it look real. I also attended private singing lessons in the university as a class. There I had to learn and perform three songs per semester in two out three recitals that we had to attend. Then I transferred to New Mexico State University, where I am attending now as a full time student. Here, I hired a private singing coach in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. I was in his class for about three to four months. I was in a church choir, where I was the soloist to sing the psalms for church. This past April, there was a movie production being filmed here in El Paso called "A Day After Tomorrow", where I appeared as an extra for all three days that they were here.
